Every program participant is first matched with a volunteer advisor and an individualized development plan that includes two or more of the following areas:
Career Development
We help our program participants identify and achieve goals through career exploration programs, mentoring, internships, workshops, and apprenticeships.
Service
Service is the core of all our programs. We help students identify service opportunities through which they can develop skills and support causes that are important to them.
Recognition
We match students with opportunities through which they can develop skills, showcase accomplishments, gain confidence, and possibly earn recognition.
Personal Development
Through our wide-ranging workshops, participants can acquire essential life skills in areas including health, technology, and financial literacy.

At Amplify Teens, we recognize that there are several nonprofit organizations committed to helping teens achieve their goals, but the need for such service is far greater than the capacity of any single organization. By partnering with groups that share our values, we can increase our impact and help the greatest number of students and communities possible. We recognize that it’s more effective to work together.

Introducing our
2026-2027 Youth Advisory Board
Meet the young leaders who are helping us make a difference by providing feedback and ideas that help shape our programs and initiatives. Our youth advisory board (YAB) members are highly motivated and talented teens, aged 14-18, who are passionate about learning and community service. Our board members participate in a wide variety of leadership development programs and receive the training and support to create their own service initiatives to address issues that are important to them.
